2018 public meetings resources

TransWest Express LLC is applying for the necessary permit from the Wyoming Industrial Siting Council to construct and operate the TransWest Express Transmission Project. In connection with this process, TransWest held three additional open house meetings to provide local governments and the public in the project area with further opportunities to obtain more information about the project, ask questions and provide comments for TransWest's consideration.

TransWest's open houses were held Oct. 29-30, 2018, in Rawlins, Baggs and Wamsutter, Wyoming. Here are links to the main informational materials that were provided there.

Advertising and notice

TransWest notified the public and local governments about these open house meetings through:

Individual letters sent via certified mail to all governments and special districts in the area.
A news release posted on the website and issued via TransWest's email mailing list.
Purchased display ads that ran in local newspapers: Oct. 17 in the Saratoga Sun, Oct. 19 in the Snake River Press, and Oct. 20 and Oct. 27 in the Rawlins Times.
Personal outreach and communication to business leaders, nonprofit leaders and other members of the public.
